  7. PROMAX MRP II is a mature package that manages the inventory and provides
  8. purchasing, shop floor, engineering, and sales administration the data
  9. integration tools to achieve "just in time" accuracy.  Aspects of the package
  10. include net change and regeneration MRP II, multiple schedules composed of a
  11. variable number of planners, commodity groups, inventory products, time
  12. buckets, and shop floor calendars.  Calculation in this closed loop system are
  13. based upon MPS, sales forecast, and sales orders, and actual and planned
  14. inventory, allowing for fully allocated inventory in both the custom and
  15. repetitive production environment.  Multilevel BOMs are accompanied with an
  16. in-depth option configurator permitting planning for a product that may have a
  17. variety of features.  Requirement, pegging, exception, and rough cut capacity
  18. are few of the reports available.
